Terms and Conditions

1. Custom Orders and Manufacturing

By placing an order, you acknowledge that 3D printed items are manufactured to order.

  • Surface Quality: You understand that 3D printing (FDM/SLA) involves visible layer lines and minor surface imperfections. These are not considered defects.

  • Material Limitations: We provide information on material properties (e.g., PLA, PETG, Resin), but the customer is responsible for ensuring the material is suitable for their specific application.

2. Intellectual Property & File Uploads

If you upload a 3D model (STL, OBJ, etc.) for us to print:

  • Ownership: You represent and warrant that you own the rights to the file or have a valid license to print it.

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify Table Goes Boom against any legal action regarding copyright or patent infringement related to the files you provide.

  • Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse any order containing content that is illegal, promotes violence, or violates our safety policies (e.g., functional weapons).

3. Accuracy and Tolerances

3D printing is a high-precision process, but thermal expansion and material shrinkage occur.

  • We target a standard tolerance of ±0.5mm. Small gaps may be visbile between parts, but these can be filled with putty and sanded as part of the general processing and painting of the item.

  • If your project requires “press-fit” or engineering-grade precision, you must contact us for a custom quote before ordering.

4. Payments and Cancellations

  • Non-Refundable: Because production begins shortly after an order is placed, custom prints are generally non-refundable once the printing process has started.

  • Pricing Errors: We reserve the right to cancel orders resulting from automated pricing glitches in our instant-quote tools.

5. Shipping and Lead Times

  • Estimated Dates: Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. Delays in production due to machine maintenance or material shortages will be communicated promptly.

  • Damaged Goods: If an item arrives broken due to shipping, please provide photos within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a replacement.

6. Limitation of Liability

Table Goes Boom is not liable for any damages—direct or indirect—resulting from the use of our printed products. Our 3D prints are intended for decorative purposes and have not been certified for critical safety applications unless otherwise stated in writing.

7. Safety Warning and Age Restrictions

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

  • Age Restriction: Our products are intended for adult hobbyists and collectors. They are not toys. By purchasing from Table Goes Boom, you acknowledge that our products are not suitable for children under the age of 15.

  • Choking Hazard: 3D printed items, even those that appear solid, can break under stress or if dropped. This can result in small, sharp plastic fragments that pose a significant choking hazard, cuts or splinters.

  • Supervision: Our products should never be left unattended with children or pets.

  • Intended Use: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our prints are for decorative or display purposes only. They have not been tested for safety standards required for children’s toys (such as EN71).

  • Assumption of Risk: By purchasing our products, the customer assumes all responsibility for the safe use and supervision of the item. Table Goes Boom accepts no liability for injury or damage resulting from the misuse of our products or the failure to adhere to these safety guidelines.

8. The “Table Goes Boom” Community Platform

By placing an order, you may be granted access to our private community forum. This platform is designed to promote local tabletop gaming and foster a positive environment for hobbyists.

  • Community Conduct: We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, bullying, hate speech, or the sharing of offensive content. You agree to treat all community members with respect.

  • Moderation & Content: [Table Goes Boom] reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any post, comment, or media uploaded to the platform at our sole discretion.

  • Right to Refuse Access: We reserve the right to refuse access to the platform or permanently ban any user for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • Violation of our community guidelines.

    • Disruptive behaviour that affects the enjoyment of other members.

    • Use of the platform for unauthorised advertising or spam.

  • Revocation of Membership: If a user is banned for misconduct, no refunds will be issued for previously completed 3D print orders. Access to the community is a complimentary feature and does not constitute a “purchased service” that is immune to moderation.

  • Privacy: While we strive to keep the community secure, you are responsible for the information you choose to share publicly within the forum. Do not share sensitive personal information.

8.1 In-Person Meetups & User Safety

The Table Goes Boom platform may be used by members to organise local tabletop gaming meetups and events. Our favourite local venue is The Arena.

  • Assumption of Risk: Any in-person meetups arranged via the platform are attended strictly at the user’s own risk. [Table Goes Boom] does not vet members, verify identities, or provide supervision for these gatherings.

  • Liability Waiver: Table Goes Boom shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from physical meetups organised through our community spaces.

  • Safety Recommendation: We strongly encourage members to meet in public, well-lit venues (such as local gaming cafes or community centres) when meeting other members for the first time.
